With the end of the 2012 election upon us, celebrities are pushing their fans to the polls.

As if her earrings hadn't made it clear enough, Beyonce posted a letter endorsing President Obama on her website. "Everyday we see your heart and character, inspiring all of us to give more of ourselves," she wrote. "You are the leader to take us from where we are to where we need to be."

Beyonce posed with her absentee ballot and uploaded this shot to her site, iam.beyonce.com.

Melissa Joan Hart tweeted her support for Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan, writing "Can't get too political in only 140 chac but for those asking, I'm voting #RomneyRyan." (She defended her stance in subsequent tweets, writing "Probably lost a few jobs in Hollywood with my political views. So sad the 'tolerant left' is anything but!")

Sarah Jessica Parker made her choice clear with the Viva Obama shirt she wore to the polls. After posing for NYC paparazzi, she yelled at them to go vote.

Mariah Carey turned voting into a photo session, documenting her time at the polls on Instagram and Twitter. "Let your vote be heard!!! Four more years!" she tweeted.

Joan Rivers had a friend hold her spot in one of New York's many long polling lines while she went to the doctor. She tweeted this from the exam room with the message, "Why oh why is this patriotic American citizen still single?" She later returned to her polling spot to vote and tweeted, "Left Dr Nicholas and my gorgeous shorts behind and now back to find my darling Eric on line and vote. Perfect timing!"

Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl tweeted a photo of himself wearing an "I Voted" sticker and a big grin. Though he didn't say who he voted for, since he performed at the DNC, Obama would be the logical guess.

Lenny Kravitz also let a sticker do most of the talking. He posted this photo with the tweet "I voted. Go #vote"
