Secondly, the obsolete 2nd Amendment says NOTHING about recreational shooting, hunting or even self-defense; it says the right to keep bear arms shall not be infringed in order to maintain militias. We don't HAVE militias today, and even if we did, I'm fairly certain they wouldn't expect you to bring your squirrel rifle; they'd probably issue guns.
Third, you gun nuts really think you can take on the U.S. government's killer drones, flame throwers and tanks with your crappy little Glock 19s? Right. Good luck on that.
Fourth, the image of a bunch of civic-minded gunslingers opening up in a dark theater "taking the perp out in a hail of bullets" made me laugh so hard I think I may need physical therapy. Trained cops can barely hit the floor with a brick; the notion of 20 civilians who learned about guns from watching Lethal Weapon movies all blasting away at a live target in a crowded room is black comedy at best.
