No. 7 Oakton (6-4) at No. 2 Lake Braddock (8-2) OR No. 2 Centreville (7-3)*

No. 6 West Potomac (6-4) at No. 3 Lake Braddock OR No. 3 Centreville

No. 5 Robinson (5-5) at No. 4 Chantilly (7-3)

*Saturday's McLean-Langley game will determine the No. 2 seed. If Langley wins, Lake Braddock will be No. 2. If McLean wins, Centreville will be No. 2.

Virginia AAA Northern Region Division 5

In, with seeding TBD: South County (5-5), Jefferson (6-4)

Still alive: Edison (5-5), McLean (4-5)

Skinny: Saturday's McLean-Langley game will affect who gets into the field and how it will be seeded. If McLean wins, the Highlanders and South County will be tied for the sixth seed. Jefferson will be the eighth seed, and Edison will be eliminated. If Langley wins, South County will be No. 6, Jefferson will be No. 7 and Edison will be No. 8.

Maryland 4A South region

In: Wise (9-0), DuVal (8-1), Suitland (8-1)

In with a win Saturday: Eleanor Roosevelt (7-2)

Needs help: Northwestern (6-3)

Skinny: Wise has clinched the top seed; DuVal would likely earn the second seed and a home game with a win at Parkdale (0-9) Saturday. The loser of the Suitland-Eleanor Roosevelt game will likely drop to fourth place. Eleanor Roosevelt could still drop out altogether with a loss, a Northwestern win at Bowie (4-5) and three other results to fall Northwestern's way.
