"Boy Meets World" fans, rejoice: a version of the hit '90s sitcom may be coming soon to a small screen near you.
ABCNews.com has confirmed that the Disney Channel is in "very early development" on a pilot for a show called "Girl Meets World." They're working with Michael Jacobs, executive producer of "Boy Meets World" and "Charles in Charge."
For those who don't remember, "Boy Meets World" was a staple of ABC's "TGIF" comedy block from 1993 to 2000 and helped untold numbers of teens deal with the awkwardness of growing up. Casting for the new series is under way, and while there's no word yet on whether Ben Savage, Danielle Fishel, or any of the original actors will reprise their roles on the new show, Fishel posted a cryptic, suggestive tweet over the weekend: "Just want you guys to know that @BenSavage and I have talked and we've decided … Thanksgiving is going to be delicious this year!"
While you wait for the triumphant return of Cory and Topanga, check out what the cast has been up to since "Boy Meets World" went off the air:
