Now that the presidential election is over, actor Jason Biggs is brushing off vulgar tweets he made about the Republican candidates' wives.
"I made a political tweet, so I got a little bit of heat from the right," Biggs said earlier this week during a photo call for New York's annual 24 Hour Plays event. "I'm more afraid of the Kardashians than I am of the Republicans."
While Biggs was unapologetic about the comments, which referenced parts of Ann Romney and Janna Ryan's anatomies, Nickelodeon, which hired him to provide the voice for its animated series "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles," issued an apology after an outpouring of criticism from conservative groups.
Biggs said he uses Twitter to express the darker side of his humor, which audiences first got a glimpse of during his famous dalliance with a pastry in "American Pie."
The 1999 raunchy teen comedy about four friends on a quest to lose their virginity before high school graduation not only launched the careers of a number of Hollywood newcomers, including Biggs, Tara Reid, Mena Suvari and Chris Klein, but also spawned three sequels and four spinoffs, including 2012's "American Reunion."
Here's what's happened to Biggs and his fellow cast members since then.
